Thank you

Thank you for visiting this site. It has been many months since Hurricane Katrina swept over the southern United States taking with it many lives, and livelihoods. Sadly, with the passing of time, the initial shock and awe of this tragedy has seemed to fade. The story has fallen to the back pages of publications.

Yet, the devastation remains.

Once you've witnessed the destruction first-hand it's not a memory you're likely to forget. Parts of the once great Crescent City look like little more than a third world city. Many businesses remain closed, their signs still swing loosly from their holdings. The ever-present waterline is an outward mark of how much was lost on the inside of the buildings. However, a little known fact is that the famous French Quarter is still intact. There, many businesses open their doors everyday in anticipation of welcoming back visitors to their city.

These merchants and many others have returned to rebuild their lives. It is a process that will take many years. It's a process that we can help with. Through this site we've compiled a list of resources you can use to help rebuild New Orleans. You can visit. You can donate. You can volunteer. You can shop.
